Friday, August 7:

D3 NASCAR (anglewinder) on the Kingleman track. Tech Inspection 11 AM

D3 Retro Pro on the Gerding King track. Tech inspection 1 hour after conclusion of NASCAR race.

Saturday, August 8:

D3 Can-Am on the Gerding King track. Tech inspection 10 AM.

Sunday, August 9:

D3 Jail Door Sports Cars on the Flat track. Tech inspection 9 AM.

D3 F1 on the Flat track. Tech inspection 1 hour after conclusion of JD SC race.

$100 to WIN FCR Southern Stock Car Shootout Series Race #2

Aug 8, 2009 at Central TN Raceway, 208 Old Nashville Hwy, Lavergne, TN. 37086.

Track opens at 10 AM EST, motor hand-out at 12:30 EST

After big race is the following “support” race

4 in Flexi NASCAR - Falcon 7 motors, stamped steel production flexi chassis, any black rubber rear tire, .765 min diameter. Entry fee $5.

Series Rules
COT Stock Car

Chassis: Parma 4.5 inch wheelbase FCR. NO Modifications. Handling weight may be added. Oilites must remain in stock "up" position and chassis may NOT be modified to relocate oilite. May use any guide flag.

Motor: All races will use handout motors. You will receive (1) Parma #501 Deathstar motor with your paid entry fee. You will have 30 mins from time of motor handout until your car must be turned in for tech. The ONLY permitted changes are: motor springs, brushes & gear. Extra motors may be purchased for $10.00

Body: Parma COT part #1055B or #1055C. Must be painted. Must have a number on both doors and roof. Must have a sponsor logo. Must have full interior. Rear bumper Min 1/4 inch tall. 1 7/8 roof height. Measured with body mounted on chassis. NO severe "raking" of body.

Tires: Front - Parma #699K or PRO Track #219. Rear - Parma #699L or PRO Track #252. Min diam .865 No changing of tires during race. Rear may be narrowed. Front axles must rotate and both front tires must be locked to axle. NO freewheeling front tires. Front tires may be coated with fingernail polish.

Width: Front and rear track width- 3.25 inches equally spaced on both sides. Will be checked using series tech tool. It is YOUR responsibilty to make sure your tech tool is the same as the series.

All drivers will be permitted (1) 2 minute red flag call during the event. At this time, this is the only car allowed to be worked on. NO other cars may be removed from track! Violators will be penalized 5 laps.

All tech will be done with series tech tools. It is YOUR responsibilty to ensure that your tech tools are the same as the series. At all series races there will be mid race random spot checks to prevent cheating. If your car is found in violation during that inspection, you will be removed from the race. NO EXCEPTIONS! ALL cars will remain in impound until your race and after your race. Cars will only be allowed to be removed from impound after the entire event is complete. The only exception to this is if a person is leaving before the conclusion of race, their car must leave the premises with them.

All cars must be at tech table by predetermined time. Any car that is late will be penalized 5 laps. Any car found illegal during tech inspection will have from the time of inspection until 10 mins after last car is teched to make nessecary adjustments. After 10 mins. race will proceed and you will be allowed to join only after car has passed inspection. All series races will be 3 mins on 2 mins off. Race up to 12 entries will run one heat using round robin. 13 or more entries will use two heats and so on. If more than one heat is used, all results will be merged to determine final rundown.

IF IT DOESN'T SAY YOU CAN DO IT, YOU CAN'T!

FCR Southern Stock Car Shootout Series has final decision on any and every judgement call.

Proper behavior is expected. If any driver is asked to leave by track owner or series official due to behavior, that person forfeits all entry fees and prizes.

At any series event, depending on number of entries, there may be "support" races. Any support race will use FCR chassis and will use one of the following depending on track owners choice:

4.5 in FCR Dirt Late Model Falcon 7 motors, any black rubber rear tire, .850 min diam
4.5 in FCR NASTRUCK
4.5 in FCR Vintage NASCAR
4 in FCR NASTRUCK
4 in FCR NASCAR
4 in Flexi NASCAR - Falcon 7 motors, stamped steel production flexichassis, any black rubber rear tire, .765 min diam

All races will use same rules, unless otherwise noted, other than body or wheelbase differences.
Support races will be announced when race date is announced to give you sufficient time to be prepared.
