The FCRathon is a triple threat race. Starting with a double elimination race on the 1/8 dragstrip, the race moves to the oval track for racing with 100 lap segments with eight heats per racer. The track power will stay on until 100 laps is reached by the winner of that segment/heat. The final race in the FCRathon trilogy is a 75 lap per heat eight lane race on the Oglivie reverse Orange. An overall winner will be determined by points acculmalated over the three races.
About the cars: 4.5 FCR cars using West Penn Racing League rules. We will be using the Parma Dirt Late Model bodies for this race. The rules for the bodies will be the same as the National FCR Series DLM rules.
Rules: The same body and chassis must be used for the entire three races.
- Sealed Parma 501 motors only.
- No wheelie bars for the drag race portion.
- Any tire may be used in the drag race.
- One minute to clean and prep drag strip during eliminations.
- Any controller may be used.
