Event: ● Zimmerman 'Festival of Speed' - April 23-24, BPR

The second major race of the 2016 SCRRA Retro racing schedule will be the Pete Zimmerman "Festival of Speed" on Saturday, April 23 and Sunday, April 24. 
 
Same schedule as last year, with Can-Am on Saturday and F1 and RetroPro on Sunday, and all races will be on the BPR King track.
 
Tech inspection will begin for Can-Am and F1 at 10 AM on both days with RetroPro tech about two hours after the end of F1 on Sunday. RetroPro power will be switched on immediately after the finish of F1.
 
Remember, for Can-Am all cars must be brought to the tech table with the body off for motor and body inspection. Bodies must weigh a minimum of 5.5 grams. F1 will have a quick motor inspection also but the bodies can be left on.
 
And... being a major race the normal SCRRA body rules will be in effect so the recent practice of allowing certain bodies the addition of side dams and diaplanes will not be allowed.
