Tuesday night GT1 Flexis on the King using 16D motors and GT1 bodies.

Tuesday Night Flexi car rules for T/R's

Chassis:

Any flexi type chassis with either single or double pans. Any thickness material, steel or aluminum. Ball bearings in the chassis are legal. Weights may be added to chassis but the chassis may not be lightened by removing material. Bracing is allowed.

Motor:

A stock Pro Slot 16D FX or FK (Falcon 7, Slick 7 Mini Brute) motor must be used. No Super 16D motors allowed. Arm can be replaced with a USRA-legal 16D arm. (i.e. Pro Slot .518" arm or BOW .560" arm. No ball bearings but the bushing may be soldered in. Brushes and springs can be replaced

Rear Wheels and Tires:

Any type of tire may be used except for Speed Rubber. Minimum rear tire diameter at the start of the race is .750" diameter.

Front Wheels and tires:

Any front tire sold as a 5/8" diameter tire. "O" rings tires are legal. Front tire should measure somewhere close to .600" diameter minimum.

Body:

Bodies will be GT1 type bodies. All bodies must be painted. No GTP or LMP type bodies allowed. Driver is not required.

Minimum Track Clearance Front and Rear:

Minimum clearance in the rear is .050" measured under the axle. Minimum front clearance is .015" measured under front axle.

Cars will be teched before the race. A starting time will be put in place (yet to be determined). Drivers will be placed in heats according to their ability. Anyone not able to make the starting time but is known to be coming to the race will automatically be put in the last heat regardless of their ability, but the last heat will not be held up to accommodate a late arrival. The race will not be stopped to fix cars. Racer will not be allowed to change to a different car after the race starts. The race will be 2 minutes on each lane with 2 minutes between each lane. The race will not be held up if a driver is not ready to go at the end of the 2 minutes.

If it's not mentioned it does not mean it's legal. If you have any doubts contact a race official (Rick, Butch, or Paul) for a ruling before doing it. These rules are a simple guideline for everyone to have fun, please don't complicate the issue.
