Dave does D3 F1 for the checkpoint race

Dave's been itchin, and scratchin' to start building since we got our tickets for the team checkpoint race a few days ago.

Today, after looking at the fine gallery pictures of the latest BP F1 cars for about the 10,000 time, he started cutting


He started with a JK f1 kit


Hacked off the side pans and did the front end


.078 rails going on


tacking them in place


finishing the joints


the back end is done now


water and dawn to clean up the flux

Looking good... it will be a pleasure to have Dave here, everyone likes him and he is a heck of a good racer. The best!

Build on Sano Dave!! Looking forward to racin with ya and yer new ride!!! I've still got my "Sano Dave" clone car!!! It still works nicely--but I'll have a new ride for the race too!!
