Not really...
The JK Ti22 should be the body of choice for the kit class. That is body Sano Dave ran at the R4.
Surprized?
As for classes... NASCAR on the Tom Thumb King witth narrow lane spacing would be BIG fun!

We are still in discussion on how we are going to run the race series this year. But for sure we are going to run F1 first, Can Am second and finish with Flexi GT.
We are also going to run a JK Spec class. What we haven't decided is if we will run the JK class in with Flexi GT or Can Am to save time. We also haven't decided if the JK class will be considered a beginners class or just another class.
We should have this figured out in plenty of time for the Sept. race.

Run Spec with Flexi,it would be morally wrong to mix Tier 1 and 2 classes together.
Since Flexi is the intro class anybody running Can Am or F1 shouldn't be cherry picking in Flexi. And with the difference in open and closed bodies it will be easier to see who you are racing against.

What if someone wants to run both Flexi and Spec classes at the same race??? Hard to race two cars a the same time.
I think we should run.........................
F-1
Can-Am
Spec Can-Am
Retro Flex
In that order....... at all events.

It has been my understanding that the Flexi class was to get local racers interested in the IRRA when the show came to town. Not as an event for some national level racer to beat up on the locals.Let the IRRA regulars stay out of flexi, and let the regulars display the speed of the Spec class so the locals have some incentive to move up.Am I wrong on what the flexi class is intended for?Running all 4 classes seperatly is the best, but if you have to combine, flexi would be the best choice.

I think JK spec will be very popular. But, it is all an unknown at this point.
Bill makes a very good point about Flexi being for the local racers... Mark G. at Keystone refers to it as "Clubbing baby seals"... Again the problem is there are no driver classifications etc. And then there is the issue if 'not enough' locals show-up to race...
My big question is the time factor racing four classes on one day. For now it will probably only be an issue at Tom Thumb, where I think we might see 30 to 40 entries per class on a regular basis. Good problem! Perhaps an earlier start time?
