Dan Thorlton, who also runs the Slot Car Addiction website, is an elementary school teacher who is using slot racing to promote student achievement in his fifth grade class. Dan's experiment in using slot car racing as an effective teaching tool in the school environment is supported by a generous Indiana State Prevention Grant specifically designed to promote after-school activities.
