Here's some pics of a 1/32 car w/ a scratch built chassis I built recently. The reason I built it was, I ordered some neat Lancer 1/32 bodies, and I needed to build chassis to fit them. The bodies are not a standard 1/32 scale, they are a little smaller. It came out really neat, and handled pretty well. I built a heavy version, and a light version. This is the light version. (The heavy was a little too heavy, lol)

Nice build Kevin! Can you also post photos of your "heavy" chassis? Some on here may have suggestions how it could be made more usable. Were the 1/32 scale bodies some you got from PCH?
Is the "heavy" chassis the multi-rail one you already posted on Slotblog a week or so ago?

No, the heavy chassis was not the one I posted before, that was a 1/24 scale chassis. And unfortunately, I took the heavy one apart to re-use the motor box, so I cant post pics of it.
Also, the Lancer 1/32 scale bodies I did get from PCH.

This is the 32nd scale scratch built I'm just finishing. I used a few pre-made pieces, such as the motor box, guide tongue, and pin tube risers. This one I made bigger pans. It has a little up and down movement in the back and is hinged in the front. I still have a little work to do with it.

Another very clean looking build Kevin. Which motor will you probably power this chassis with?

Kevin, it does look nice. Where did you develop your soldering skills before you started your recent chassis building?

I worked soldering circuit board components in the high tech industry for 10 years. That's where it started. Thanks!
