Hey Mike,.. Yeah,.. Looks Great !!

Suitably Tiny and very Nicely 'packaged' :)

Very impressive 'On Track' performance as well !!

Am a bit annoyed I just ordered a couple of 'Self Starting' ROV ESC's to try :( LOL

Looking forward to trying one :)

Looks like Stefano is well involved with fpv drones and also plays with slot cars.
And has connections to manufacturing.

Wonder if he can produce BL motors specific for slot cars? High kv, high power output at high voltage rating

Plug and play no fuss no adjustments. Will it handle the voltage on the tracks here in the States?

How about its use for Drag racing on 16.4 vdc ?

Questions that need answers.

Just thought I'd add some New information to this older post :)

Stefano will soon have the Latest version of his ESC available for general release (the Production version of the units used recently in the ISRA races, I believe)

Spec's as follows:

15.8mm X 24.7mm
1.82g approx.
40 Ampere continuous delivery (>80 Ampere mosfet in ideal conditions)
Starting voltage (depends on the motor) can be as low as 1.10 volts
High torque at low rpm also with very low kV motors (<3000kV)
More than 240,000 rpm with selected motors for extreme racing
At least 20 volts input capable

Sounds great :)

Hi Stewart,

That is great news - Thanks for the update!

Now, if there were pictures of the ESC available and pricing - that would be fantastic!

Yeah, that info on the Facebook page is Old.

Because there were a few of us that had shown interest in getting one of the Early units but didn't end up getting one, (myself mainly as I suggested I was Not 'desperate' or in dire need of one at the time), Stefano sent out an email to a few of us, which was then made common public knowledge by some over zealous individual, who posted his email on Facebook.

Obviously this was ahead of Stefano actually making the announcement 'Official' so for your information, here is the email as sent to myself.

As you can see, the units are Not cheap but do offer performance specs beyond anything currently available, which may prove useful in preparing an OMO style Wing Car, or running a High revving, high kv or 6 magnet motor.  :)

Dear Slot Racers,

this is Stefano Mirabelli from Model Drome. Yes, I know, it's been a very very long time. My initial plans of being able to deliver a reliable and fast slot racing brushless controller board have experienced a lot of delays and various details have been fixed and updated. I don't want to bore you with all the various steps, technical details and modifications that have been implemented into the last version of the BLDC Control, but I can tell you that they have been successfully used during the last ISRA 2023 World Championships in Atlantic City. They have also been tested by some of the best racers in Europe who have been able to obtain podiums in races with top of the world ISRA racers.
Having said this, I'm finally able to deliver to you your BLDC Control after many many months. I want to thank you for your patience and comprehension!
Even though the BLDC Control is now out at 80 euros, I would like to maintain the original 50 euros only for you that have preordered them (for a single unit).
I also understand if, after all these months of waiting, you are no longer interested in buying the BLDC Control. There are many other valid alternatives on the market now, and they usually can be bought in a nearby shop. It's been a very long development procedure and the journey has had it's ups and downs. I'm still happy if you've been able to try and test the upgraded experience that brushless motors can bring to our hobby, with or without using one of my boards.

Some info about the BLDC Control:
15.8mm X 24.7mm
1.82g approx.
40 Ampere continuous delivery (>80 Ampere mosfet in ideal conditions)
Starting voltage (depends on the motor) can be as low as 1.10 volts
High torque at low rpm also with very low kV motors (<3000kV)
More than 240,000 rpm with selected motors for extreme racing
At least 20 volts input capable

Please let me know if you are still interested in the BLDC Control and I'll reply to you with the necessary instructions for the payment, address, invoice details and shipment.
