Fellas,
With the recent closing of one of, if not THE most celebrated slot car raceways in the country, Buzz-A-Rama, we will pay homage to the facility as well as the owners.
Buzzy and Delores Perri were well known throughout the slot car community for decades. Their passing will leave a void that will be felt far and wide for years to come.
Over the years many stories have been told about the stash of slot car goodies lying in wait in the basement of Buzz-A-Rama, some true some not. With the closing of the track and the unleashing of thousands of cars, parts and memorabilia from the famed facility we will start what I hope to be an everlasting tribute not only to the track and the owners but to the history of slot car racing in general !
We invite any and all folks who have a Buzz-A-Rama story, slot car, slot car parts and memorabilia to post photos ON THIS THREAD.
We will title the thread "Buzzy's Basement Beauties"...
All I ask is that this thread not be used for selling, buying or trading, there are other threads and topics here on Slotblog for that purpose. Thank you!
PS: Not my photos.
