Look below the window that you're typing in, you see "Attach Files," first click "choose file" for the file you want to upload and then click "attach this file." Works for me every time.

But before you do that hit the more reply options button to the lower right of the box you type your reply into.

Never forget that first place goes to the racer with the MOST laps, not the racer with the FASTEST lap

What file type are you trying to upload? JPG, PNG, and PDF are the only ones you can use.
If you're still having problems, email your image(s) to me at greg@slotblog.net and let me see what's going on.

Unfortunately, I have to download the PDF to see it.
I don't trust downloads of unknown files.

Really, Zip? You think Phil might have posted a virus-infected file?
I clicked on it. If you don't hear from me, you know my computer went up in flames.

Ron, test it with a known PDF file, if you have any saved and want to be 100% certain.
Also, some race reports on here are in a PDF format. They should be virus-free, too.
I intend to live forever! So far, so good.

Regardless of who posts them, I WILL NOT download .pdf files to view photographs or race reviews.
My prerogative.

Just so the paranoid have some clarity: that PDF is a 2009 catalog for a company that's no longer in business: It's for Thurston Manufacturing. They made precision saws from .003 to .25" wide and in variety of hole sizes and diameters.
No, I do not upload "viruses" and other contaminated files because I do not download suspect files to begin with. I have *NEVER*, repeat, *NEVER* had a virus or any other "Trojan Horse", worm, or any other malwear and I have been using the internet since 1994. That file has been in my "library" for over 11years, through 3 different desktops and have had no problems.
Websites still using Adobe Flash should be a *MUCH* bigger concern than PDF files.

Sometimes the truth hurts. If something new is posted that you don't want to do, we don't have to know. Sounds like you've had viruses in the past.

In all my 20+ years of using computers, I have never been caught out with a virus or hack - touch wood!
Maybe I have been lucky with the anti-virus programmes and clean house keeping that I have practiced.
If others are too lazy or arrogant to post photographs using one of the acceptable file formats here on Slotblog, why on earth should I be required to download or use something that MAY affect my computer system.
I'm not saying that they will, just may.
Each to his own, no?

Bill beat me to this. Just don't download it. We don't need nor care to know.
