The final event of the "Festival of Speed" weekend was Can-Am on the King track and drew 20 racers.

At about half distance, Jeremy and Duran slowly started to pull away from the pack as a few of the front runners ran into trouble. In the last heat Jeremy had about a half lap lead over Duran with Duran inching closer and closer every lap but finally ran out of time as Jeremy was able to hold him off by feet at the end!  Great race with Sam coming home thirrd.

  Congrats to the winners over the weekend, Jerry Johnson in Retro Pro,  Bill Vanderziel in Retro Coupe,  Duran Trujillo in F1 and Jeremy Marquette in Can Am!   A super weekend of SCRRA Retro racing and Congrats to all the racers and thanks for your attendance!

  Thanks to everyone who helped out in any way and a special thanks to Joe Gallagher for the awesome banners!  Thanks Richard for hosting the event and thanks for the trophies and all the goodies at the refreshment table!!

   The next major SCRRA Retro race will be the Western States in July and more to follow on this event shortly.   :)

was everyone using the CR motor?

   Pretty much I believe but a couple notable exceptions.....Duran Trujillo and Jim Lange ran Eagle Retros to finish 1st and 2nd in F1.
