got four of these super old womps along with a few of the riggen 1/32 similar cars (cant remember what they are called). been fixing them and this was the third one and I decided to semi restore it to original configuration how I got it. they had the Porsche bodies and one corvette. this is my factory corvette body from when I was a kid that I cleaned up and put on for fun. They are all a wreck, bent, modified etc.

this has to be from the mid 70s Im guessing?

Also has the shigoto 16d or 160d. I had to put a guide but on the spring steel press on retainer thing are horrible.

It's a stamped steel Parma "Womp Womp" Chassis and typically fitted with a Parma 16D. Your motor is the only thing pre-1980

Even those wheels are 80’s? never seen any womps with those wheels till I got this and all of them have the same wheels.

I've not seen any pre-1980 Parma wheels, but from the angle of these photos, they look like the standard Parma aluminum hubs from the 80's and 90's. That's the one and only Womp-Womp chassis and Corvette body that was available until Parma quit. All of the ones I remember had can drive motors. 3/4" cone hubs with O-rings were more typical fronts.

Well if they are in the eighties they're still 40 years old. I remember my first swamp back around 1974ish, it was a little Honda Civic later to put a Open wheel Indy car body on it.

Some people are like Slinkies... they're really good for nothing... but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs.

Your front wheels may have been from the limit edition "Bigfoot" womp or the Champion legends RTRs also had wide fronts. The chassis is a first gen version. The second gen chassis had the extra front axle hole for an extended wheelbase. I don't know the transition years.

Interesting. all four have the same front and rear wheels. also they have black coated axles which I thought was sorta strange. they came with two Porsche 911 bodies and a corvette (same as purple one).

That's a standard Womp Womp from the middle 70s to the late 80s.

I have several of them.
