This one is modeled after the Ferrari 275P that Mario Andretti raced at Bridgehampton in 1965. The body is a modified Monogram.

The Ferrari has another one of my sheet brass chassis. Plafit wheels, gears and 3MM axles are used. The car is powered with a shortened Mura C-can motor. The motor has a low-timed Wasp armature.

This one weighs in at 5.2 ounces. Nice-driving car.

Gorgeous build Rodney and one of my favorite (1 to 1) cars too. So much to appreciate but I especially like the wheel inserts.

Larry can take the wheels, I'll take the chassis.  :laugh2:  Rodney, did you have to shorten the can in order to fit it anglewinder in that particular body or did you have other reasons? It's another great build.

Thanks, Larry and Bill. The wheel inserts are the model kit wheels trimmed to fit into the Plafit wheels.

The car was previously powered by a Falcon motor and later with a Parma D-can motor. The shortened Mura motor fits nicely in the center of the car.

Yeah, great looking car, very nicely done. Looks great with the Full interior too :)

That Era / Series of Ferrari's looked very good.

Nice job !! :)
