Lee built this GT350 back in the day. Magnesium chassis with a 36D motor. Cox wheels. Balsa wood interior. Unique brand rear tires are still fresh.
Cool car. Drives nice.

Are some of these 1/25 scale & others 1/24 scale? Were any pulled off model car kit bodies. such as Vintage & others did?

Great car Rod, thanks for posting.
Really like these old mag chassis - and they do seem to run well!

Revell made a 1/25 Mustang that is very nice. Seems like I got a new one that was from Lancer and was called a Mustang GT. it was nice also. Could have been one that Gene copied the Lancer body. Been a few years and I don't remember for sure.

Just completed this Dubro body Mustang. AMT chassis with brass shaker plates added. Dynamic wheels. Urethane rear tires and Classic brand front tires. Stock 36D motor. The clear body had a few cracks, and one side was bowed out. Acrylic paint was brushed on and styrene strips were glued to the sides of the body to flatten them out.

Nice save on the body Rodney. The finished car looks great. Du-Bro bodies had good details & were quite a bargain in their day. I've had one of their 1/32 Porsche 917s since the '70s.
