Does anyone know any links or is there a place within Slotblog that I might get some build ideas on an inline motor chassis that I can use on a tri-oval track. I enjoy scratchbuilding and hope there are ideas put there I can look at.

Thanks.

in-line, LTO tri-oval,oval 4.5 stock car. originaly an in-board mounted motor with a very narrow LRI tire. now a conventional, in-line cr102. not too shabby on a flatish short oval. loses a bit on the outer lanes. almost flat out on the inside lanes. front and rear wheels rotate independently. best regards

Here is the one I usually use. It's my standard stalker build with the outside pan changed to a 1/4" wide .064 brass. The regular pan is 1/2" wide .064 brass

A motor is only as fast as the chassis it's in.

Hello Dominator, was there supposed to be a picture or link with this?
I am anxious to see it.

Thanks
Ray

Really nice build!

When you set up your chassis think about what the big cars do to get around the track faster. I found that running a harder tire on the outside gave me an advantage.
