If you had to define '60s or' 70s dirt racing with a single body nearly everybody would enjoy, what would it be? '55 Chevy, '57 Chevy, Camaro, Chevelle, Mustang, Falcon or something else? I am talking about cars similar to the pictures.

The Parma FCR chassis is a good choice for sedan NASCAR type bodies. I don't think I would limit oval cars to one class or type, though. Some years ago I raced with a group of home racers that did a rotating schedule between several different member's tracks. One was an oval, and we did a lot of different classes. We did the vintage type sedans, but also added dirt modifieds, sprint cars and Indy style open wheelers.
We did these dirt modifieds, originally on cut down H&R chassis, but later on started scratch building the chassis.
We did these '50s era indy cars, and sprint cars as well.
It was a crazy group. We did trailer races once a year at our annual picnic.

The oval is just a place to start and something everyone in the country can relate to.

So, are you looking to start a spec class? One body, one chassis, one motor, spec tires and gearing?
