Will the Police car have a pop out rear axle?

Great 2CV Rod, really looks authentic. But I had no memory of it being in American Graffiti! Who drove it?
The 2CV was a very useful car here for many years, used on farms or cities, easy to maintain, etc. etc. The French equivalent of the Beetle. My sister-in-law drove one for many years. She wasn't a natural driver, but it made her independent. Then, when she was about 65 or 70 and they were no longer made, she switched to a simple Citroen for her last car - and it was a revelation. "It's so easy to drive, why didn't I change years ago?!!"
I never drove a 2CV, but once rented a Renault 4L, which was kind of the same thing, also with the manual gear shift sticked out horizontally from the dashboard. Took me awhile to get used to that, but it was kind of a fun car to drive.

Those are all suburb. You are inspiring me to dust off my hard body projects.
A lot of time and thought has gone into these. It's the details that set them apart from the rest like the drag link on the coupe and using the correct sedan body and chrome reverse for the '55.
And the candy type paint on the Merc. Sweet.
Also love the use of the padlock motors, bevel gears etc. Like they did many hardbodies in the sixties. Go into the parts box and see what I can make work.

Rodney, no problem.
I didn't realize that some of these had drivers.
Can you show pics if you get a chance.
What do you use for driver figures?
Thanks

That is Great, thanks. Who was faster in the proxy?
"he had me Toad just before he lost control" Thats a win were I come from.
Have you ever looked into Graffiti 2 and doing Milner's rail. Not that you don't have enough projects?

Joe, a couple of cars have generic figures. I use figures from junk Carrera slot cars, Fujimi brand figures and AUTOart figures.
Martin, I have an original issue model of the John Milner rail. There are some resin bodies and decals of the dragster out now.
The Chevy was much faster. The steering and the drag with the front tires (some tire glue left on the track) on the Ford slowed it down.

Very nice. Thanks for the info.
I have used Tamiya and old MPC figures from the Gangbusters cars as well.
I have some Ulrich Mini-men but they are a little weird and need putty at all the joints.
