Exciting times.
Make sure the legs and joints are clearly numbered and that the legs go back on the same side of a joint that they came off of.
Good time to upgrade electronics, software, etc.
It’s a big task, but will absolutely be worth it to have more space.

Wish I could post a pic. It looks great, lots of room, too.

Never forget that first place goes to the racer with the MOST laps, not the racer with the FASTEST lap

Mark, it's really not complex at all. I too, once thought it was and never posted photos that weren't in Photobucket. I was wrong, this procedure is simpler than pulling photos out of Photobucket. I'm not a digital photo "giant" by anyone's imagination. Do as you wish.

Take my word for it, 180 feet, new braid, more power taps, banked, and fast.

No A/C now because it is not turned on or needs to be fixed, or no A/C ever?

And there are two A/C units and the drywall is in place. Down the road, a second track, but Brian could have told you that LOL.

I heard A/C will be installed but only turned on after the racers pay a hefty ransom.

All kidding aside, Jim and Gary have busted they're butts moving, restoring, and rebraiding this track. I wish them all the best and pray the new theme is a winner.

I might like running on that track. It is an inverted Elmsford track with wider turns and the same type of blind entrance into the turn under the bridge.

Jim, that's interesting. The layout is a Elmsford not a Engleman?

The Avon Park track is an Engleman... and the track at Elmsford Raceway was also an Engleman.
Some tracks have left-hand banks and some tracks have right-hand banks... but they're still considered to be the same layout. For example... I once read about a reverse King track out there that has a bank that is a right-hand turn instead of the traditional left-hand turn.
