[Ohio Retro Series]

I spoke with Mark Kitto today and was told the track will not be ready in time for the first race. As a result, the combined ORS, Penn-Ohio, and USRRA is cancelled for Saturday, September 24, 2022.

 

With the sad news that Tom Thumb Hobbies closed this week, the races on October 22 and February 25 are cancelled for Tom Thumb Hobbies.

 

As of this posting, there are three races scheduled for the ORS.

 

Oct 22  - cancelled at TTH

 

Nov 12 - HMS (ORS)

 

Dec 3 - MMW (P/O, ORS, USRRA)

 

Jan 14 - HMS (ORS)

 

Feb 25 - cancelled at TTH

One track closes while another ramping up for reopening but taking a little longer than anticipatied.  Hopefully the cancellation is viewed as not a setback but a chance for re-alignment.

 

Slot racing has survived through the decades by realigning and readjusting let’s all give it some time and it can happen here also.
