I bult another big wheel Donk style Chevy. This one uses a used MPC 1976 Chevrolet Caprice Classic model for the body.
Many of the real cars run on 26"-28" rims. Since the old Dynamic drag race rear wheels scale out to about this size, I decided to use a couple of pairs of these on this car. Rear tires are Ortmans.
The chassis is one of my hand-cut spec. chassis. The upper brass plate provides "shaker" movement. To clear the full interior, the motor is mounted in the rear.
The spur gear is an aluminum Weldun, and the motor is an H&R.
The car is very easy to drive. Very smooth with no tilting or wheel hop.
"Donkmaster" Sage Thomas and the "Skittle Pack". The convertible turns sub 10s in the Quarter,

Very cool build Rodney and I love the rear mounted engine! I totally get why you did it that way but I've never seen it done before.

Really nice
My favorite kind of build.
I especially like that you retained the full interior.
I was wondering what is the purpose of the slot ahead of the rear axle?
I've used those original Dynamic tires ( not wheels ) on a similar build and they work great with a little sanding.
Keep em' coming.
