Works for me at Raceway 81. I'm not an expert so these are purely my observations.
I've added pictures so you can see the settings I used.
 
DIP switches
2,3, & 4 on killed the motor response with both motors I tried last night. Settled on all off for the Emax 1106/6K for lanes 1 to 4 and put one on to get a bit more lift for the exit from the tighter corners on lanes 5 & 6. The Flyhobby 1106/6.5K geared 12-35 was nicer with 2 up. If the Emax was geared the same rather than 11-37.
 
Attack.
I'm not one for a lot of 'Attack' and this was born out by the motor when I loaned it to Peter Sidgwick who likes a lot. Once we turned his CS2 down the motor came in. Looks like the BLDC / Carsteen works best with it as in the pictures.
 
Brakes.
Nice and soft. If I went past the setting you see the brakes were a lot stronger. To try and explain it say 30% was soft but a fraction more it probably went to more like 70% brake and a lot stronger for a smidge more movement on the brake pot. Stronger brakes spoiled the flow of the car into the corners.
 
DIP Switches
The Flyhobby 1106/6.5K geared 12-35 was nicer with 2 up to take the bite out of it. If the Emax was geared the same rather than 11-37 I suspect that would be the same.
 
Chokes
Tried them but not needed
 
Anti-Brake
Tried it for a few laps to see what effect it had on corner entry / braking. Need to revisit this again to see if a benefit can be had on open flowing tracks but probably not needed with brushless motors the way the 'brakes fade' away when 'on' the brakes towards the end of the motor / controllers braking faze.

The identical setup works for me using my CS-02
