After a break of a few years, Mason-Dixon Retro has scheduled a GTC and Can-Am event at Dom's Raceway on Saturday, November 26, 2022. Some of the Mason-Dixon guys attended a Retro race at Dom's a few weeks ago. The new Hillclimb is just fabulous, as it is fast and very smooth.

 

Doors open at 8 AM on Nov 26, with the GTC race starting at 10 AM followed by Can-Am one hour after the GTC event.

 

This appears to be the only slot car event scheduled in the Penn-Jersey-New York area on Thanksgiving weekend.

GTC and Can-Am event will be $10 per race, no pit pass will be applied.

 

Hoping to see Pa-NJ-NY-MD Retro racers and others there. The track is really awesome to race on!

braid depth is about .010 .  Can Am lap times are about 4.6 to 4.8 seconds, GTC just a little slower.

A great track that is much bigger than it appears in this picture. Fun to race on and plenty of pit space.

Guys, we are stiil on for Coupes and Can Am on Saturday Nov. 26th at Doms Raceway. Doors open at 8 am with Qualifying for Coupes scheduled at 10 am.  Trophies / plaques will be handed out for the top 3 for the combined finishes of both races. Points will be awarded as such for both races:

1st....20 points,  2nd ....19 points, 3rd...18 points,  etc, etc  all the way to 15th for 6 points.  All drivers entered will receive at least 6 points should they finish worse than 15th in the coupe or can am event.  The Tie breaker if needed will be the finish of the can am event. Mason-Dixon Winner stickers will be distibuted to all main's winners. We look forward to seeing you on Saturday !
