Hey guys,
THIS SATURDAY, we are racing for the World Famous Pumpkin Trophy. AKA Halloween Enduro.
The race is invitational only, and it’s reserved for the best-qualified drivers of the year.
We are racing some exclusive McLaren 720S GT3 from NSR with lights on. Andrea set it up personally for us.
The paint job is super special too.
Rules are simple:
- 2-hour Team Enduro - Teams formed by two racers - 10 minutes per driver, per lane.
- No practice
- Your controller
- The computer will give us the rotation lanes. Track pauses manually at the 10-minute mark to change the drivers.
- Cars stay in the lane
- 3 minutes intervals to change cars and clean the tires. No oiling is allowed.
- No lights at the store - and SMOKE
- Limited to six teams
- Your face in the perpetual - World Famous Pumpkin Trophy!
- No Electric Alley, do not bring boxes or tools.
- Racing fee is $30 per team
PRIZES:
Plaques for all racers.
NSR is giving a BRAND NEW Porsche 917 car painted in Gold, Silver, and Bronze to each podium finisher.
The store and track open at 5PM - the track is open to visitors and kids. No practicing.
The race starts at 7PM - nobody touches the cars before it.
YOU MUST HAVE AT LEAST ONE PIECE OF COSTUME. it can be something simple, or not. It’s up to you. (I have a witch nose, a big black hat, and a t-shirt that says Slot Car Witch)
