[Roy Lievanos]

We had 12 racers and ran 2 six racer mains.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

This class continues to go fast. We had 2 cars on the 2.9’s with Sam just missing it with a 3.01. 
3 were in the 3.0’s and the remaining from 3.1’s to 3.3’s.

B main. TJ on white, Roy Lievanos on green, Jeremy Pyles on orange, Tim Wood on blue, Don Haase on yellow and Rick Dodge on purple.

The first few heats was very close racing. Roy, Jeremy and Rick Dodge slowly pulled away changing leads several times. In the end a spur gear took Jeremy out while leading. Roy lost a spur gear in the final heat. Rick Dodge made a motor change and was closing in fast and took the win.

 

 

A main. Charlie Nelson on red, Joe Gallagher on white, Bob Ricca on green, Jeremy Marquette on orange, Rich Curnutte on blue and Sam Rackham on purple. 

In the A main the top qualifiers ran into trouble in the first heat and throughout the race. Sam and Charlie ran consistent to take first and second with Jeremy third.

Charlie 2nd, Sam 1st, Rick 3rd from B main

 

 

Welcome Jeremy Pyles from Arizona to his first Retro Pro race. Jeremy led for a few heats in the B main. 

Thanks to all Retro Pro racers who attended. Fun clean racing with a great group of racers. We should have a good turnout at the Checkpoint.
