Finished Monogram McLaren with Ortmann decals.
I haven`t the original side screws.
The body was sanded and polished with the three diferent Tamiya polishes.

This is just great - one of my favourite vintage slot cars.
Being old and grumpy - I would like a small drop of thinned matt black paint in the exhaust tubes ;-)
I have one too + a new body with crome, decals etc.
The body on the car is damaged :-( - looks like a hot wire has l laid across it and melted the body on a few spots :-(
So a future project is to mount the new body on the chassis :-)
I make a set of repro decals for the car :
