Lovely car Rodney! I find it interesting that there were lots of different iterations of the Ferrari 312 F1 car. I've never seen the Dynamic body before but the mirror pods around the cockpit were indeed present on Bandini's number #18 car (the one he crashed in Monaco). When I posted my Ferrari F1 build a few months ago, it used a Lancer (repro) body that doesn't have the mirrors but is accurate for his earlier #2 car.

Hi Rodney,
I find it simply amazing that you still have all your cars you've built over the many years - especially your very first slot car!
If I may ask you please, would you post pix of your first slot car - or have you done that already?
Thanks for sharing all of your slot car treasures!
Hope all is well - please give my regards to Eric!
Thank you Rodney.

Ernie, my first 1/24th scale slot car was covered Rodney's Oakland Speedway cars and memories - Part 1 of Rodney's Rides. It is the last topic of Rodney's Rides. The car is a Cox Cheetah. Check out the Oakland Speedway track picture. Still planning for a home track?

Sorry, I do not remember what brand the rear tires are. Maybe Rick could identify them.
