HI John!

Thank you for sharing your early "Christmas present" with us.

You are correct that Toyota collaborated with Yamaha to enhance engine performance;  I do believe they did the DOHC head for the engine.

Both fantastic cars John!

Looking forward to your building these cars into track cars.

Thanks again for sharing . . .Be well!

Two great kits John! Both should build into nice cars for your track. I had a '75 280Z. Stock wheel covers were a weak item even then. No matter how careful you were mounting them, you never knew when one or more was going to come flying off, even when driving on smooth highways. I can't tell the quantity I replaced before I stopped using them.  :) You should have seen the quantity of hoses & hose clamps on its fuel injection system  :laugh2: But the car did serve me well, including during the blizzard of '78 when my hour & a half commute took me 12 hours.

Ernie and Bill, thanks so much for your wonderful posts!

Ernie, I am also looking forward to building these cars, however, I'm also contemplating making some molds of them and perhaps modifying one (you know which one) into a drop top!

Bill, thanks so much for sharing your story of your 280Z and why owners such as yourself did not have the stock wheel covers on the car!

Thanks so much for watching, posting and subscribing I really appreciate all of your support!

:)

John
