Help NERR celebrate our last race of 2022, the halfway point in Season 10, and the final race before the holidays. Your entry in both races will put you into a drawing for gift certificates redeemable at any of the three participating NERR raceways. Winners will be determined by random drawing. Certificate values will be $25 for the first ticket drawn, $50 for the second, and $75 for the third and final ticket!
The first race of the day will be Stock Cars on the Oval followed by Can-Am on the King.
Recommended set up for Stock Cars:
Braid Depth: About .030, set for the back stretch as it is deeper than the front
Body: VFC, OS or Red Fox Charger
Gearing: 8:26 or 8:27 for CR2, 6:27 or 6:26 for Hawk 9R
Note: lap record times set w/CR2 at 10:27 gearing; total lap record set with Hawk 7R at 6/27 gearing
Tires: JK Wonder, JK natural, Thunder medium, Mid-America big hub
Weight: 135 – 150 grams (add weight until car stops sliding out in the corners)
Time to shoot for: 1.35 seconds (on orange)

Braid Depth: Varies, set for .015 with no lift is a good compromise
Body: Ti22 NN long, Ti22 NN short, Ti22 wide nose, by RTR, Kelly, VFC or Parma
Gearing: 11/27, 12/28, or, if you can drive it, 12/27
Tires: Medium Thunder, Mid-America, JK big hub wonder
Weight 104-110 grams

NERR General Race Event Procedures and Schedule:
Track will be open for practice on Friday evening prior to the race from 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm. 1010 runs a weekly flexi-car race at 7:00 on the King, so plan to arrive early for practice on the King, the Oval will be available all evening. Pit pass for the night is $10.00.
Track opens Saturday morning at 7:00 am.
Entry fees for each class will be collected at tech, cash only please.
Entry fee for each class is $15 plus $10 pit pass for race day.
Tech opens at 9:00 am, closes at 10:00 am or when last car clears inspection if earlier than 10:00.
Cars in Tech shall be impounded and not handled by the car owner or other racers.
Track power will be shut off at 9:30 am.
Qualifying starts 15 minutes after close of tech.
Lane selection will be immediately after qualifying. Drivers who are not present during lane selection will be assigned a lane at random by the race director.
Racing begins 10 minutes after qualifying.
Race heats for the Stock Car race will be 2 minutes in length. Heats for Can-A m will be 3 minutes in length with two minutes between heats.
Prior to the start of each Main a one-minute warm-up will be provided. Sit-outs (if any) have the option of a one-minute warm-up.
Tech will open for next class no less than 45 minutes after conclusion of previous race as stated by the Race Director--track power will be shut off 15 minutes after tech opens.
In races with move-ups, drivers moving up shall have 10 minutes from the completion of podium photos of the previous main to present their car to Tech for re-inspection.
