Check out Bernard's slot car museum in Houston, TX. If you want slot car history, one of a kind slot cars, pre-production, rarities, unusual, and more. Over 7,000 slot cars and over 750 slot car sets. Well worth the trip to Texas to see stuff from the early rail cars, sixties, seventies, eighties, and more. Whether you grew up with Strombecker or Revell sets and cars. Maybe even Cox, Classic, MPC, RussKit, and others. It is there. Unusual slot cars like a Lunar Rover or a one-of-a-kind handmade Australian slot car will catch your attention.

Check it out...

Long video, not perfect but educational and fun!

I tried to watch that the other day. The cell phone/cameraman is creating a lot of noise. I couldn't watch it.

Is there an address? Google doesn't show anything about it nor does the first few pages of the Slotforum thread. Maybe I missed it?

I might be wrong, but I wouldn't be surprised if he purposely keeps the location a secret.

I can understand that. So it's not as much a public museum as a private collection. Pretty cool no matter what it is.

The phone number for Bernard is 832-433-4519.  Either call or text to set a time to see the museum. It is well worth the effort and travel to Texas. The person who did the video has been there a few times. The audio has a few issues with background noise. But other than that issue. Most true enthusiasts will find that information interesting.

Glad to see he offers tours in person.

He is quite the interesting guy.

Among other things, for those who missed previous discussion about him, he was married to actress Shelly Duvall.

Seems appropriate, since it states in the title and the text in the first post, that the museum is in Houston.

It must have been a post I skipped. I never have been fond of videos imbedded in threads.

Do you see something else as the title.

IOW, is it cut off at the end?
