Having trouble finding the RPM for this Hawk 12 listed anywhere.

Does anyone know for sure what it is?

Don't have a tach, but I can tell you this motor out-revs other motors claiming to be 70K. Not the torque punch of the CR206 and Phoenix Supra, more like the smooth revs of the TWP 70KBB, but even more top end.

Nice question, David. I'd be curious if anyone has a good starting point for this motor. I have one with no idea how to gear it.

I'll do a little digging around to see if there are any suggestions form those-who-know.

JK originally recommended 12/42 as a starting point. In other words, 3.5:1 gear ratio. I don't think I have a 12T pinion, so I might try something like 11/38 or 39 and see how that works and go from there.

However, I don't want to burn up a motor, either.

SnowBeas what i do know is a Hawk 9 is 10/37 64P on a King track  so i think a Hawk 12 would be the same.
