Rod, the "city" or "town" was commonly used on local mail when I was a kid because the mail was handled by only one post office. But this card was delivered in 1967, well after zip codes were initiated. My guess is this one was handled as a local favor rather than just returning it to the sender as undeliverable
Good restoration on the Fairlane.
I intend to live forever! So far, so good.

Always loved the Champion wire nickeled chassis. Especially the stocker.

The Fairlane body looks like a Dubro brand body. Thanks Rick.

Very nice, don't remember ever seeing that body.
Had that same Impala body/chassis combo but stupidly sold it.
Oh,well.
It was gold and black.
I was wondering did Champion sell that Impala body and chassis together?
Did one of you chaps here wind up with it?

We remember a Fairlane body with a rear spoiler and a '68 Dodge Charger body were sold with the chassis.
