We all do dumb stuff like that. Back in my drag racing days, I was running my Road Runner and decided to change spark plugs. I made the run, and returned to the pits. I had decided to change back to the plugs I ran before, but couldn't find the spark plug socket and ratchet. I opened the hood, and there was the socket/ratchet sitting on top of the battery where I had left it before the last run. Lucky it didn't move and short against a battery post.

There's a version of Murphy's Law that says, "A dropped tool will never hit the floor." My ex-Pontiac probably had $50 of sockets, small wrenches and small screwdrivers contained in the bodywork when it went to the junkyard. That included a ....... 10mm socket.

Buy three of them, then throw two out in the parking lot on the way to your car. At least you'll know where they are.

Yup. Lost quite a bit of tools this way working on my cars. 10mm is one of the most common tools.

But can she rebuild an engine between rounds at the dragstrip?
Posted 29 December 2022 - 11:14 AM
She can't do anything. She's a pretty girl and a team of people built a successful YouTube channel around her. Remove her and no one would watch those videos.
