The USRRA organization is holding a joint race event at Mark's Model World with the Penn-Ohio series. The raceway will open on Friday January 6 at noon for practice. The raceway doors will open at 8 AM on race day. We will race stock cars, Can-Am and F1. We will qualify all the car classes one after another, then run off the mains. The car classes will be run in the order shown.

Rollin, yes it is. However, if you push too much, you come out leading to some frustration, then lost of rhythm, and more offs. I am not a fan of flat tracks, but I gotta learn how to drive better on this track. The old saying "you gotta learn how to go slow, before you can go fast" applies here.

Well .... "they" also say:  "if you ain't wrecking, then  you ain't trying."  

 

But I certainly understand the theory of "slow down to go fast."

 

Shoot ... I can't even get around a banked track any more.  Very frustrating.

 

You need to invite Jay to come up and show you how to get around a flat track.  I think part of the reason that he's good on them is because he tells himself that he loves them.

Well that, and the fact that I raced almost exclusively on flat tracks for the five years I lived in NorCal. :)
