That is a good post. You list the components of your car. That helps people. :good:

I noticed your were running lower KV motors in your videos. Not 2300KV low, but lower than everyone else. So I bought some 2300KV just like yours and some 3200KV which I think is closer to what you have been running.

I haven't had a chance to test them yet. My guess is that they will free wheel at a higher voltage before stuttering than the motors I have. I know you said that didn't matter on the track under load, but I just wanted to see what the low KV motors will do out of curiosity.

The lower Kv motors have more low end torque and aren’t as fast MPH wise, helps them in the consistency department.

I have used various types of Outrunner motors in my builds to see how they react.

Just more R&D in different applications.

Infomation equals innovation  :)

I just wanted to see if the brushless motors really are that close.

I was surprised!

Here are the finished cars.

Chassis are WRP C10 motor box .080 stainless tubing main rails, Swiss guide tongue with 7grams of lead added.

They weigh in at 90ish grams each.

I’ve seen the experts with no experience say that the brushless drone motors are no more consistent than the brushed motors. As painful as it is.... here’s a lesson for the naysayers.
