The 5th Sunday in January 2023, time for another D3 Hardbody Racing day at Buena Park Raceway.
A lite turnout of racers did not affect the fun day of racing. Newcomer Al Castillon entered his first ever hardbody race at BPR.
The GTP race had 8 entries. Phil Nyland won with Rick Jocham 2nd and Doug Jacks 3rd. The Racer Handicap podium had Jim LaBarba 1st, Walter Baynes 2nd and Tim Herrera 3rd.
The Mixed race had 9 entries. We didn't have enough marshalls to run all 8 lanes so we decided to run 4 lanes at a time (outside lanes first, then the inside lanes). The Lap Differential podium had Rick Jocham 1st, Phil Nyland 2nd and Keith Tanaka 3rd.
The "Racer Handicap podium had Walter Baynes 1st, Tim Herrera 2nd and Doug Jacks 3rd.

The next D3 Hardbody races on Sunday, February 19, 2023. BPR opens at 10 am, GTP race at noon followed by a quick lunch, then the Mixed race.
The D3 Hardbody Truck Enduro is Sunday, April 16, 2023. Time to start forming 3 man teams for the Truck Enduro!
