Hello everyone! 

 

We are hoping that you can join us for this four-class, two-day event. 

 

We will be running under RMRRA/IRRA rules and all classes will be run on our 155' hillclimb. GTC-FK will be a hand-out motor class and there will be no separate designation for skill levels. We are considering a hand-out tire for Can-Am and will announce our decision 30 days before the event.

 

We have plenty of parking and pit spaces available. We are close to many hotels and food options. We are 40 minutes north of Denver with easy access to the location. We will post hotel info within the next week

 

Itinerary: 

 

Classes raced and in this order - 

 

4.5" Stock Car

GTC-FK

Retro F1

Retro Can-Am

 

Thursday, July 27 - Open from noon until 10pm for practice. $10 pit/practice fee

Friday, July 28 - Raceway opens at 8 AM, with practice until 4 PM. Stock Car tech opens at 5 PM, with qualifying by 5:30 PM. $10 pit/practice fee. (Raceway to remain open for practice after Stock Car races until 11 PM)

Saturday, July 29 - Raceway opens at 7:30 with 4.5" GTC-FK tech opening at 10 AM and qualifying by 10:45 AM. F1 to follow after lunch, Can-Am to follow F1.

 

Food will be provided all day Friday and Saturday

 

Top 20 awards in each class. We will award concours and TQ efforts. 

 

Track will be cleaned and glued July 26. 

 

Who knows, there might even be a dunk tank where you can kick my a$$ on the track as well as in the parking lot.

Normally and if time permits. It is a thankless job that requires a lot of resizing if you want it posted here.

No, it should not, unless you upload way oversize images.

 

The biggest issue posters have is not understanding there's a filesize limit for on each post.

I understand the size limits and they are small if you want to over achieve and fully post an event with three classes and all the chassis and body pics.

Not going to change my phone and camera settings that are simply default and not an issue anywhere else.

To just post a few podium pics is not an issue.

If you think it is easy to load this much content as this race report here, I strongly disagree. It's why I stopped posting race reports on the blog.
 
One of my favorite thing to do are race reports. It adds value and puts a face to the name. I literally am writing the report while I am racing.

Give me a call and let's discuss this. The software is set to resize large pictures but the the per-post filesize limt still applies.

Slotblog's database is now over 45 gigabytes and It's not feasible to allow a larger per-post filesize limit.

Baseball, need to give you old timers every advantage I can. Looks like I can get the tank with LED lights too so the water will be fully lit. If we hit 20+ entries in 2 classes, I will also allow 2 bags of ice to be put into the tank.

Just a suggestion guys. Create a report with pictures in MS WORD and save it as a PDF. Than post the PDF like Noose does.

That work for a podium pic like report for sure. I can probably come up with a google docs link, but then it has the possibility of disappearing opposed to staying on the blog for eternity which I thought was the archeologist approach we run under.
