I was a big Chris Amon fan had a poster of Chris standing in the cockpit of the 612 . I don't recall what their best finish was . Really a very nice job on your project! Looking forward to seeing how the track test goes!

Yep, beautiful job Rod, really a very impressive looking car, too bad it never worked out on the track.

Rodney, you build some beautiful and unique cars.
I just love this car.
It has a great look to it.
I think it's one off the nicest ones I've seen out of you stable.

Thanks, everyone. I was a big Chris Amon fan also. The car handles great. It is like driving a semi-modern Champion flexi car. Handling is very neutral. The car does not tail out like an A can-powered car normally would. The motor has a low timed 27 single armature (1968 Mura). The car could handle more power. I changed the spur gear from 36 tooth to 40 tooth for better acceleration out of the turns. I may replace the armature with a NCC Group 20.

The 333SP was cool but, for me, I just love those late 60's and early 70's CanAm cars.
Beautiful cars Rodney. Thanks for sharing them.
