I came across this chassis in a box of "stuff," no idea what it is. The wheelbase is very long, probably a stock car, and the motor bracket makes me think C-can.

I'm really just guessing here but from the looks of the EDM work it could be a Slick7 "Super Sport" chassis from the late '90s or early 2000s. Rudy made these to be a kind of home or rental car and not a true race car, as were almost all of his other products.

I have a nearly identical chassis, with only some minor variations in the guide tongue area. It's a Mossetti chassis, used for a weekly "Pro Nascar" racing class at Mossetti's Raceworld track in Toronto in the early 2ooo's. Mine is nickle plated and has a 4-7/16 inch wheelbase. The class raced with 4.5"
Lexan bodies of the day and Challenger/Contender motors,if I recall correctly. Ernie often made small running changes to the chassis as needed each time a new batch was ordered.
