We lost our friend, Pete Linszky last year. I thought it would be nice to show some of his cars over the next few weeks.

Nice mid/late-1967 chassis with a body representing a 1967 Ferrari 350 Can Am.
Presumably the motor bracket is a Russkit #795? http://slotblog.net/...racket-bracing/

When Parma bought what was left of Russkit, they fire-sold the 795 brackets for nineteen cents ($0.19). I remember buying a card.

Hi Rodney,
It "IS" nice of you to share Pete's car . . .I know I appreciate all the cars you share with us.
It's amazing to me the plethora of cars you own!
So wonderfully incredible to have such a collection Rodney.
Thanks so much for sharing all that you share.

Pete entered his car in a Retro East Jail Door race for sports cars at the "Slot Spot" in Neptune, NJ in Jan. 2010.

I raced with Pete in several of our vintage club’s jail door races, as well in many years of 36D powered vintage car races. We had a lot of fun and cherish my memories.
