I think there might already be a thread like this but I'd like to see some rare aftermarket 60s parts you guys got stashed.
I just got some of those 5-40 to 1/16 wheel adapters that seem to be unobtainium in a parts lot and was super excited!

Narrow Front Russkit Wire Wheels...
when I first got back into slots around 2006, I started buying old parts, thinking I'd build up some cool "old" cars with the parts... never happened. LOL

I have one of those Tradeship balancers too. Those two rods need to be replaced with drill blanks. The 3 legs make it easy to level if you place a bullseye level in the middle. It still doesn't beat dynamic balancing. I got a smaller, older, Rand balancer with blades that I've actually used, the last time was in '67.

I'm glad to see that something was missing from that balancing device by Tradeship, a bullseye. Without that, how are you supposed to be sure it's level?

I’d say up to whatever you personally think is rare or uncommon. i just want to see oddball parts!Ummm, what's rare to me might be readily available. Like steak, to some people, rare is black all the way through.
Can you please narrow it down?
Example on evilbay
1) less than once a year
2) more than once a year
3) ain't never seen nothing like them there before
4) can't find it/ never posted on Slot Blog.
Thanks for indulging my eccentricity.

First off a disclaimer, I dont live on evil bay.
Having said that the only time Ive ever seen these they were on a vintage controller.
Second picture. I have never seen one of these in the wild outside of a slot car shop/track. IMG_0385.jpeg IMG_0386.jpeg
The items seen on a controller were called "Green Sinks". I believe Bob Green was the one who made them. Circa 1970ish....

I have some of those "Green Sinks" in the early '70s. I put two on a double barrel, twin micro controller I built back then. I have two others for the backup controller that never got built. I got mine at Modelville Hobby who would have sourced them from REHCO.

I have been collecting these for awhile, but I still do not have the 250 hour pin. I think they are pretty cool, hard to believe many kids logged 500 hours, if that's what that represented?
Any body have a 250 pin they would trade so I can complete my set. I have some duplicates.
