The good old days when vision and dreamers came up with interesting ideas only using paper and a no. 2 pencil and a lot of clay.

Enjoy!

Those are great, Gene. The concept cars fascinated me when I was a kid...

Funny to see that Bisiluro in there - it was produced as a slot car by Policar of Italy!

A few of these cars look similar to the entrants of the Fisher Body contests.

Love the concept cars. Thingy slot cars are a great way to see ones imagined car in 3D.

Great subject Gene, thanks for posting :good:

Very cool.

I don't remember that at all.

Early 60s?

Ford actually built it as a concept in 1959/60.

....and if you click on the CONCEPT tab, you can see many more concept cars.

I meant the model kit as I was a regular at places that sold model cars from about 63 or 64.

Yes mike, I knew you meant the model kit. It must have been as popular as the 1/1 car?

I have never seen or herd of either.

It has very "cartoonie" proportions.  I could imagine Mr. Spacely jetting around in a Leva.

Mr. Spacely was George Jetson's boss at Spacely Sprockets.

I was sort of surprised to read that the show was short lived.
