My Matra 630 for Bordeaux race is now finished, it is of course piloted by Henri Pescarolo.
The bodywork from the Gama brand circuit car required a lot of care, it is now much more attractive.
The headlights have been reduced in height, I also opened the side air intakes, that of the roof and that of the front bonnet.
The unspeakable interior has been completely redone, and the rear wing is missing, made of 0.4mm aluminum sheet.
I also made the openings of the engine cover and formed the 2 grilles protecting the 12 cones of the famous V12, and also finished the underside of the car which did not exist.
The chassis was made to measure in brass so that it fits perfectly into the bodywork, being invisible once the car is on the track, as is the front guide.
For the decals, I used those of the miniature Le Mans made for the static resin of this brand.
But I didn't manage to put the green band that bars the front bonnet because of a different inclination of the bonnet between the 2 bodies.
But it's not to displease me because I don't really like the color of this green.
For the race I machined another pair of rear rims so I could run softer tires.
The car weighs 122 grams with its brass chassis, I'm happy, we'll see in the race.
