Fellas,
This Thursday June 1st the C.A.R.S. Vintage Slot Car Club will meet at The Race Place in Farmingdale, NJ at 7:30PM.
It has been almost one year since we lost our friend, mentor and club mate Pete Linszky. On June 24th there will be a special Memorial Race in his honor at The Race Place. This past weekend I bought the parts and my dear friend Tyler D built a beautiful car for me to give it a go in this race.
I will have the car and list of parts if any members or anyone else present would like to build a car to race for Pete's Memorial race. Let's also spend the night discussing the good times we've had with Pete, both in person and on SlotBlog. Lots of memories to be shared.
