A lite turnout for D3 Hardbody Racing on Father's Day at Buena Park Raceway, Sunday, June 18, 2023.
The track voltage was reset to 12.7V (was 11.4V) by Victor Dubrowsky. Thanks Victor!
The first race of the day was for GTPs. A field of 10 entries. Jim Lane won with Phil Nyland 2nd and Hector Gonzalez 3rd. Newcomer Mike Tipps from San Diego was 4th. Very nice first race by Mike Tipps!
The "Racer Handicap" podium had Bob Brown 1st, Jim Lane 2nd and Phil Nyland 3rd.
The second race was a "Mixed' race for any D3 Hardbody racing class. A field of 7 racers.
The "Lap Differential" podium had Hector Gonzalez 1st (Under 2 Liter Trans Am Corvair), Tim Herrera 2nd (Nissan GTR) and Phil Nyland 3rd (Mustang Short Track).
The "Racer Handicap" podium had Paul Kabot 1st (Trans Am Plymouth Barracuda), Tim Herrera 2nd and Hector Gonzalez 3rd.
