Sunday's Robert Silva Memorial 1/32 race series at Buena Park Raceway had a good turnout of 21 racers. This 1/32 hardbody race series is held on the 4th Sunday each month on the BPR flat track. This is the 3rd month of this Memorial race series at BPR.
The first race of the day was for GTE Pro cars. 21 racers were split into two races with 10 in the first race, followed by 11 in the second race.
The first GTE Pro race had Phil Nyland 1st, Tim Herrera 2nd and Bob Ahulii 3rd. The second GTE Pro race had Mill Conroy 1st, Eddie Shorer 2nd and Keith Tanaka 3rd.
These two races were combined to determine the final race results which had Mill Conroy 1st, Phil Nyland 2nd and Eddie Shorer 3rd (Tim Herrera 4th).
The F1 race followed a short lunch break. 21 racers were split into two races for the F1 races. The first race had 10 racers and the second race had 11 racers.
The first F1 race had Rick Jocham 1st, Keith Tanaka 2nd and Bob Ahulii 3rd. The second F1 race had Phil Nyland 1st, Mill Conroy 2nd and Walter Baynes 3rd.
These two races were combined to determine the final race results which had Rick Jocham 1st, Keith Tanaka 2nd and Mill Conroy 3rd (Phil Nyland 4th).
