As many may recall, I've been wrestling with this American King for a couple of years. I've decided to let this one go as I have a replacement King up and running. This was just a little out of reach for my skill set. Well... that happens a lot!

 

Storing this is not going to be possible. Just can't afford it. So I'm looking for a good home for the track. It's in storage now and for the time being. 

 

Might require some braid work at the joints. It's a solid track. The picture is from the time just before I bought it.

 

I'm in Spartanburg, SC. You will need to come and get it.

Would someone in New England please, please buy this from Michael, and set it up?  

We could sure use it on the New England Retro Racing circuit! New Hampshire? Rhode Island? Maine? Western Massachusetts? Vermont?

 

There are stout and willing men, racers who will help collect it, drive it to its new home, and assist in setting it up.  I'm one.

If you can get this worked out I’ll do everything possible to make it financially possible for you. I get attached to these wood tracks for some reason so I would love to see her go where she would be a part of a great racing circuit.

There were a number of additional steel legs added to this King. If you want this and can come and get it then reach out to me. I've paid another month of rent for storage but that's an additional expense I've not got the budget to maintain. Had to switch to the generic bologna. Next month I'm pouring my cereal milk back into the jug. LOL.

 

Seriously, I want this track to go somewhere. It's important enough that I am willing to sacrifice whatever I may have invested. Let's just get it to a safe place.

Such a nice-looking 'proper' King... Pity it isn't in Australia!!

This has had a few talks about it but no takers yet. Sweaty palms and a nervous twitch have begun to manifest.

Did Scott Myers of MD contact you? He was looking for a track according to Facebook, a King or Hillclimb.

What comes with it, i.e. computer, power source, etc. Do they work and how much?
