I have this wing car that was owned by the Italian racer Bruno Novarese. Anybody may help to identify it?

Thanks,

Michele

Not sure of the manufacturer. Looks like from the early '90's and really in beautiful condition. Maybe Slick 7? :)

The problem with trying to identify these chassis is that there were/are multiple independent builders that use bits of hardware from one or more brands. I agree with Mike's assessment of being early to mid-90's, and there are aspects that look Slick 7. However, I've had Slick 7 guide tongues over the years, and the one on this chassis doesn't look like the Slick 7 articles I'm familiar with.

That's clear, thanks for the feedback!. Bruno Novarese was a jewel maker. He was also an experienced slot car builder, working at its own cars till the 70s, both in brass and steel. Is it possible that some parts of this chassis were "built" by himself, and not simply assembled?

It looks like a Mike "Amazin Raisin" Garrett spring steel center section to me. Other than the funky lead wire system I think he might have built that one.
