DoSlot Brushless News from the track - G7 and Eurosport
05.08 we made for only the second time a DoSlot Brushless Motor test in a wingcars.
Again at Bluekingclub Brühl and with fantastic support from Peter Fröbel. Thanks a lot!
Without qualification simulation we were able to go as best 1,734s.
With perfect wheels, braids, track, … it should go a bit faster. 1f642.png
Laptimes around 1,78-1,79s was possible over long distance without any problem.
When trying to go more fast the motor went too hot and died.
For comparison results from European Championship this year on the same track:
- Omo G7 TQ – Klaus Wickert – 1,728s
- OMO G7 Race victory – Klaus wickert 1000,47 laps – middle laptimes 1,929s
- G7 TQ – Gugu Bernardino – 1,533s
- G7 Race victory – Yli-Sipola Juha – 1193,47 – middle laptimes 1,609s
Best setups and same laptimes was:
- DoSlot 1105 - 9000Kv – DoSlot Prototype E-Com “Blue” – 11:43 – 17v track power
- DoSlot 1105 – Prototype 11000Kv – DoSlot Prototype E-Com “Blue” – 11:43 – 14v track power
(9000KV with longer gearing should be able to go same laptimes with 14v, we will try this nexttime 1f642.png )
Test with our DoSlot 1105 – 16000Kv Prototype and trackpower 14v and 16v was more slow, around 1,85s.
But due to the high rpm this motor will be maybe an advantage in eurosport. We will know soon 1f609.png
With this motor we reached stationary on testbench without load more then 300.000RPM on 19v without stutter!
06.08 Jiri Micek drove our DoSlot 1105 – 6000Kv in a very first test for him, to a nice 4th place in a Eurosport Open race in Czech Republic.
After the race, with still the same motor, but changed setup, he could drive laptimes 3,81s.
Next time with a higher Kv motor from us, he should be able to go more fast.
