That car looks like a handful, the owner/designer gave it hell during his run around the track.

Interesting. The 350 HP number might be a bit light. The race prepped 2.7 in my 914/6 was approaching 300, or maybe even a tick over on a good day. His engine, with the four valve, twin cam heads, along with everything else needed to get over 10,000 rpm, should be a good bit more. His car weighs 1861.2 pounds, mine was 2100. His car looks to be great fun, especially if you are a drifter. Mine was more to the point; getting around the track as fast as possible. Given a choice, I think I would have more fun with his car.

Ken re-building 663xxxx 2.7 liter RS engine years ago. 210 H.P. with stock 8.5 to 1 compression ratio. Installed in the modified red '72 911T. Still have the car. Excellence Magazine list curb weight at 2315 pounds for a '72.

There is a lot of torque and h.p. hidden in that little gem, the claim of 350H.P. is very light! Awesome car and video.

Nice 911. Nice "Z". Best of both worlds.

Thanks Dave. I purchased the 911 from my cousin in the late 70's. He joined the Navy to be a pilot. The Datsun was my daily driver in the '70s. I kept both cars.
A friend just sent me an electronic copy of the 911K brochure. He tells me there are twelve spots left. Price starts at 850K GBP. I think you supply the car.

I had no idea on plans to sell them, or how many were being made, but with following Singer 911's, I was going to comment at $700,000-low 7 figures.
I guess I was right. Lol
BTW, I was listening to this the first time, from my phone, through the blue tooth in my hearing aids, as I was driving to K & S to pickup a few things.
I got on the highway via a 25 mph cloverleaf ramp and the video inspired me to give the new set of Pilot Sports I got installed on my Cayman, their first semi-hard test.

At the current exchange rate, that makes the Tuthill price $1,070,000.

Well? Evaluation, please.

It was on rails. Like a slot car with magna-traction.
I was near double, but I wished I had pushed it at least a bit harder.
This is first new pair of fronts I've had in 16 years/35K miles.
It's the 2nd pair of rears.

Wow! Only two pair of rears in 16 years. There was a time for me when rears were nearly a weekly thing. But I am sure I extended the life of the roadways near me; laying down a fresh coating of rubber to protect the asphalt.
Five years are the most I get from a set of tires, testament to my somewhat exuberant style of driving.

I only drive the car 2,000-2,500 miles a year.

That was about how long a set of tires lasted on the Mustang. With track days and drifting around cloverleafs, they didn't last long. In 43,000 miles I replaced the tires four times, so that was five sets including what came on the car. The last set lasting the longest, I had mellowed out a bit by then.

Owning a raceway doesn't permit me to drive that hard. Lol
